- YouTube Video URLs: Sent directly to Google's Gemini API for analysis
- Generated Summaries: Stored locally in your browser for caching
- Settings: API keys and preferences stored locally in Chrome storage
- Usage Statistics: Time saved tracking stored locally only
Third-Party Services
Google Gemini API
When you generate a summary, the extension sends the YouTube video URL directly to Google's Gemini API using your personal API key. This interaction is governed by Google's Privacy Policy:
